Laacesplaace Interview

Laacesplaace was chosen as my very first interview on Izzy-IT. Her crocheted items are so unique, you will fall in love with them immediately. The most favored designs are her Ice Cream Pot-Holders, they are so bright and cheery...don't you agree!

Enjoy~

1)When did you first join Etsy?
I first joined Etsy December of 2006 and have been a fan ever since.

2)How did you hear about Etsy?
I was searching for a specific pattern and found it on Etsy. So I was first a buyer and after researching Etsy I decided to sell my crocheted items, I found the Etsy Community so much fun and I meet such wonderful people.

3)Tell us about a little about yourself and your favorite craft/art!
I have been crocheting for over 40 years and it is my favorite craft to do. I teach a crochet group (children and adults) at the library where I work, I also find that crocheting assists in lowering stress and that children, of all ages, are so happy to learn this fantastic craft!

4)What inspires you to create a new design?
I get my inspiration from my Grandmother who also loved to crochet, she would design her own patterns and her home was filled with lovely crocheted items. I love to crochet things that are quick to make and are cute, fun, and pretty. I will get an idea in my head, something I see, and try to work on a pattern for it.
